MP backs biodiesel tax break project

Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George is backing a project to keep tax breaks for business who produce biodiesel.
Producers converting cooking oil into biodiesel currently take advantage of a 20p however that is due to end next April.
The St Ives MP, who leads the Lib Dem Environment Team, has been meeting the UK sustainable biodiesel alliance.
Mr George said "a variety of small organizations in Cornwall presently make cash from utilized cooking oil".
He included: "In order to be able to get this type of market going it does require simply a bit of lift which is available in the kind of tax inescapable."
Biodiesel is a blend of traditional diesel, rapeseed and veggie oils.
